Qualification
Candidates must fulfill one of the following educational qualifications:
- 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics and Physics from recognized boards with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Three-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automobiles, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or IT) with 50% marks from a recognized institution.
- Two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Note: Candidates appearing for the 12th Board Exam in 2024-25 can also apply, but selection is conditional upon presenting their final marksheet during document verification.

- Agniveer 02/2025 Batch: Born between 01 Sep 2004 – 29 Feb 2008.
- Agniveer 01/2026 Batch: Born between 01 Feb 2005 – 31 Jul 2008.
- Agniveer 02/2026 Batch: Born between 01 Jul 2005 – 31 Dec 2008.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two stages:
Stage 1 – INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test)
- Computer-based test with 100 questions (MCQs) covering English, Science, Mathematics, and General Awareness.
- Duration: 1 hour
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
- Shortlisting based on merit for Stage 2.
Stage 2 – PFT, Written Exam, and Medical Examination
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- Male: 1.6 km run in 6 min 30 sec, 20 squats, 15 push-ups, 15 sit-ups.
- Female: 1.6 km run in 8 min, 15 squats, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups.
- Written Examination (for PFT qualifiers).
- Recruitment Medical Examination at designated centers.
Salary Structure
Agniveers will receive a fixed salary package as follows:
