Qualification

Candidates must have a BE/B. Tech/AMIE/GIETE degree from a recognized university in the relevant disciplines:

• Electronics: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Communication Engineering.
• Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering.
• Civil: Civil Engineering.
• Electrical: Electrical and Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Candidates must secure First Class (for GEN/OBC/EWS) and Pass Class (for SC/ST/PwBD).

Age Criteria

• Upper Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025): 28 years.
• Age Relaxation:
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years.
  • SC/ST: 5 years.
  • PwBD: Additional 10 years.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of two stages:

1. Written Test

• Objective-type test covering Technical (85 marks) and General Aptitude (15 marks).
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • GEN/OBC/EWS: 35%
  • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
• Shortlisted candidates (1:5 ratio) will proceed to the interview.

2. Personal Interview

• Conducted for candidates clearing the written test.
• Weightage: Written Test (85%) + Interview (15%).

Salary

Deputy Engineers will receive a pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 per month, along with benefits including:

• Performance Related Pay (PRP)
• Medical Facilities, Provident Fund, and Group Insurance
